Mark Allen - Bodybuilder My 16 weeks of Ripping Up! April 2008, I decided it was time to regain focus with my gym training, which had sadly become somewhat non-existent. With this in mind and the fact I was still fairly heavily bulked since the last time I 'cut up' some 3 years prior, I set myself the challenge of dieting down to the best condition of my life and to surpass my previous personal best! I set a 16 week plan, which embodied an initial 4 week transitional period to tailor my diet towards my new objective and 12 remaining weeks to 'cut up' and reach my proposed goal… My start weight was 16st 4lbs. I worked out my calorie intake in order to lose 1-2lbs per week and introduced pre-breakfast and post weights cardio sessions. I religiously stuck to my rigid diet and training schedule and made only necessary changes to realize my objective, by listening to what my body demanded along the way. A major factor in helping me achieve my goal and stick to my rigid diet was my discovery of Pro2Go tubes containing 45g of Liquid Protein! These simply became a mandatory and staple part of my diet plan along with my daily consumption of chicken and fish. I religiously started my day by immediately having a tube of liquid protein for breakfast, in order that my body was instantly fed after a nights sleep. An additional advantage here was that due to the minimal carb content I could then specifically tailor my diet accordingly, based on my days carb requirements. This proved an invaluable benefit when every calorie mattered! I also ensured I drank a 45g Protein tube every night before bed to avoid any unnecessary calorie consumption. The other incredible benefit of having this compact and ready-made supplement to hand was when I could not physically get to a planned meal. We’ve all got delayed in meetings, stuck in traffic or been out for a night and unable to consume anything remotely healthy (let alone suitable for an extreme cutting phase). This product, taking literally seconds to consume simply eliminated any such problem and ensured I always had my protein intake, no matter how inconvenient it was to eat - I continue to carry round spare tubes with me to avoid these unavoidable instances negatively impacting my otherwise dedicated efforts.
After 16 grueling weeks and 3 days prior to my proposed finish date, I carbed up and dehydrated myself for 1 day to shift any remaining water retention (On ironically the hottest day of the year to date!). Prior to this I had been drinking 2 gallons of water per day and as a result dropped a further 9lbs of water weight. Come Sunday 27th July, I had reached my objective and weighed in cut and dry at 13 stone 9lbs! - A clear 2 stone 10lb loss in weight! Due to my resurrected hunger for training and having achieving this personal goal, I have now set myself a new challenge and am training intensely to hone my physique further and compete in 2 Midlands bodybuilding shows in September 2008. Before.............

...........And after!
